About

Software Developer

I’m Elber, a 20-year-old software developer based in Peru. I build things people can actually use: Minecraft mods, tools, minigames, and quirky prototypes that start as a simple idea in a text file and end up as published projects.

I primarily work with Java (Forge/Fabric), frontend technologies, C/C++, and Python. In practice, this means porting libraries to Fabric (like LDLib2 and Photon), creating Unity-inspired VFX systems, developing Mario Party-style minigames, building media players with overlays and playlists, and working on an "instructions" mod—a project I’ve been dedicated to for over a year, featuring auto-translations, constant updates, and a goal to be the most comprehensive mod of its kind. I also handle web development (frontend and backend) and custom system builds. If I’m open for commissions, it’s because I value getting paid for the work I deliver.

I’m part of Owleaf Studio, where I combine development with the wilder side of the craft: events, building, mods, and projects that don't always fit into a standard job description. I care just as much about the final on-screen result as I do about writing clean code.

Right now, I’m learning Japanese with a clear goal: to work in Japan. That’s not just a line for my portfolio; I’m actively studying, applying what I learn, and building a path toward that future while continuing to develop and publish projects.

If I had to sum it up in one line: I code because I love seeing ideas come to life, and because every project—whether smooth sailing or a complex challenge—brings me closer to doing this full-time, in the place where I want to be.
